Acceptable Use Policy

Rules that protect candidates, employers, websites, and the service.

Draft for professional legal review before launch. This is not legal advice and has not been approved by counsel.

Effective date: [PLACEHOLDER — set after legal review]

Use the service honestly

Do not provide false qualifications, impersonate another person, submit another person’s private data without authority, or use generated material without reviewing it for accuracy.

Respect websites and source boundaries

Do not use the service to bypass CAPTCHA, access controls, robots or terms restrictions, rate limits, or website security. Do not ask it to scrape or automate LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, or another protected source without written permission and an enabled reviewed source policy.

A user-imported URL or pasted job description authorizes saving that private reference only; it does not authorize crawling the source. Manual-only sources may be opened for the user but are not server-scraped.

No credentials or harmful activity

Do not enter job-board passwords into My Job Finder, upload malware, probe other accounts, overload the service, interfere with audit or usage records, or use the service for unlawful discrimination or harassment.

Applications remain user-controlled

Do not attempt to bypass the manual final submit boundary. Local assistance may preview or fill a small approved set of non-sensitive fields, but the user must review the result and submit on the employer site.
